(1) 5.0 x 7.0" black and white print capturing the Deadwood Chicago Burlington & Quincy Railroad yard located along Sherman Street. Image captures the Engine House with its large doors open. A diesel locomotive is parked along the side of the building. Written on the side of the diesel reads "Way of the Zephyrs". Interesting to note, the wood roundhouse has been torn down but the turn table is present in the photograph. In the background one can see the CB & Q freight depot and a portion of the presidential neighborhood. |
