Image captures fifteen (15) adult men and women posing beside the life sized sculpture of Alvin F. MacDonald. The statue was carved by New York artist James H. Riordan. Riordan also carved the James Butler Hickok and Henry Weston Smith cemetery monuments in Mount Moriah Cemetery and Michael Russell statue on display at the Days of 76 Museum. On reverse printed in black ink "Statue by J.H. Riordan Chipped away by tourists" |
