The image captures two men standing near a large pile of logs while a crane positions a log into a pile. The image captures a large amount of harvested logs stacked behind the crane. On the reverse printed in black ink "Plant had one CB & Q's (Chicago Burlington & Quincy) railroad siding. Entire plant was destroyed in 1959 Deadwood Forest Fire. Northwest Wood Preserving Plant between Deadwood and Pluma, South Dakota." |
