(1) 3.5 x 5.0" black and white print. The image captures two teams of Scotch Highland oxen pulling a wooden covered wagon during the Days of 76 parade up Main Street. In the background is a two storied building with a neon sign. The sign has a large neon Leghorn White chicken. Above and below the chicken reads "LOUIE'S" and "HUT SOUTHERN FRIED". This was the location of the 2001 Deadwood Chinatown archaeological investigation. |
