(1) 12 x 20" cabinet card of Lead, South Dakota's lower Main Street capturing the three separate railroad bridges (ore cars and compressed air engine - top; Chicago & Northwestern passenger cars and locomotive - center; and electric trolley Burlington & Missouri bottom track. The image also captures several commercial and residential structures along the right side. Advertisement posters are glued to the wood fence. these include Peerless tobacco; George Henry Cigars; IGS Opportunity; Collins Society Circus. On the reverse written in black "Three Trains in Lead, SD 1905". A second paper copy accompanied the image at the time of the donation. |
