(1) 7.5 x 5.0" envelope titled "Compliments of American Sight-Seeing Car and Coach Company New York City and Down Town" The image on the front of the envelope is the pediment of the New York Stock Exchange. The focal point of this acquisition is a photographic postcard capturing Captain Seth Bullock's Cowboys posing inside American Sight-Seeing Car on March 10, 1905. These men were part of US President Theodore Roosevelt's inaugural parade organized by Roosevelt's friend, Seth Bullock. (12) 7.0 x 4.5" card stock cards of various buildings and sights in New York City. These include: city hall and newspaper row; New York Chamber of Commerce; Typical New York Singer shops at Broadway and Prince Streets; Custom House at Bowling Green; New York Clearing House; Broadway; Stock Exchange, Wall Street; The Bowery; Broadway; and St. Paul's Chapel and St. Paul Building. |
